/hyperpower:telemetry
Control what gets recorded.
Reference
/hyperpower:telemetry statusWhen to use it
You want to know what is being recorded, or want it to stop.
What you get
Depending on the subcommand: what is recorded and where, recording turned off or on, or the recorded files deleted.
How it works
Everything recorded stays on your machine. hyperpowers uploads none of it.
| Subcommand | Does |
|---|---|
status |
what is recorded and where it lives |
off / on |
stop or start recording |
purge |
delete everything recorded, and report the file count |
Run status once to see the file paths. The records are JSONL files inside
.hyperpower/ in your repo, and you can read them with cat.
When recording is off, /hyperpower:usage and /hyperpower:cost get no new
data. They still report what was recorded before.
