/hyperpower:config

Show the settings in use, and where each one came from.

Reference

/hyperpower:config

When to use it

A setting does not do what you expect.

What you get

Every setting, with the file each value came from.

How it works

hyperpowers combines two config files into one. The value in use can differ from the value you last typed.

This prints the combined settings one by one. Next to each value it shows where the value came from: hyperpower.yml, hyperpower.local.yml, or the built-in default.

A list counts as one setting. If your local file sets a list, that list replaces the committed list completely. The two lists are not merged item by item.

Two settings decide what a run spends. checks.auto_under_seconds is the line between a check that runs on its own and one that waits until you ask. effort is auto, lite, standard or deep: on auto it is read from your Claude plan and how much of the window is left.

This command and every run read settings through the same hp-config script. Each run also records a hash of the config it used. What this prints matches what a run sees.
